*Raphael glared at Leonardo as he came in with his own special remark. He was preparing to yell something back until his father walked in the room with some nasty smelling tea. He hated tea and would have much rather preferred a beer though he knew that was out of the question.

It was supposed to make him feel better which was a big joke. He wouldn't feel better til he made sure Lexi was alright..and even Donatello. He didn't want to disrespect his father and took the tea in his hand. It was still so strange to have him back home and was somehow still afraid that that could change.

He looked down at the dark colored tea and sniffed it before turning his head away.*

    "Wha' is this stuff?!"

Splinter leaned on his walking stick waiting for Raph to drink his tea. Why did his sons have to be so difficult when it came to taking medicine? They could face the worse monsters, and people head on, but give them medication and they revert back to children.

Splinter looked at Raph. "It is an herb tea, drink it, it will help you regain your strength."

Luckily Mike's shell cell was laying on the nightstand, and within his reach. He leaned over, grabbing the device from the stand, and eagerly handed it over to Fraya. Sure, he should've worried that the call could be traced back to the lair. But even under normal circumstances, Mike wasn't the worrywart of the group. Besides, he was just so anxious to hear from his brother!

Fraya took the phone and looked it over. "Cool." She opened it and dialed Rini's number. As she waited for her friend to answer, she nuzzled Mike's cheek and planted light kisses on his skin.

Raphael still didn't want to drink it but knew his father wouldn't get off his shell until he did. So he tilted his head back and tried to swallow it quickly which made it worse. He started to cough and briefly choked as some went down the wrong way. He then shoved the empty cup at Leonardo as if to remind him of his bad mood.* "That shit is awful... I mean a' stuff." *he said trying to correct himself in front of his father, he had been scolded many times for his cursing from him and it certainly wasn't getting an better.

Splinter smiled softly at Raph, but then quickly frowned when he watched Raph shove the cup into Leo's hands. And it only made it worse with his cursing. Splinter gave Raph a quick sharp smack on the head with his waking stick. "Now then. Get some rest. I will be back later to check in on you." He said softly his smile returning. "Come Leonardo. You too must rest, I will make you some tea." Splinter said and walked out of Raph's room.

Leo took the cup and inwardly sighed. He had no idea what was going on with his brother. "Hopefully this tea calms your attitude a bit." Leo commented before following his father out the door.

Raphael rubbed the back of his head after his father whacked him with that walking stick, he should be pretty used to this by now. He grunted and almost said something back but inwardly knew it wasn't a good time to challenge his father. Instead he watched as he left the room and then glared at Leonardo once again before he also left his room. Alone again Raphael looked around and grabbed his shell cell so that he could keep a good eye on it. He wouldn't rest anymore until he gotten the news that he was waiting for..

But not everyone was so accepting of the turtle's recruitment. It sickened Xav to see how well most seemed to be taking to the reptile's presence. How could you spend most of your training being taught to believe that the freaks were the enemies, then just drop all those years of hatred overnight?! It was baffling. Even if his leader was the one to approve and 'request' all of this. It still left a bad taste in his mouth. Could Saki not see that the freak would betray him at the first possible chance? Did he honestly think that he could break him? Perhaps his hard feelings was based on his own personal experience with the freaks. The battles in years past that had left him badly injured. Or perhaps he was the only one not blinded to this all. Xav had spent most of the morning in the peacefulness of the pool area, swimming and enjoying the company of a few young geishas. Despite the girls advancements on him, Xav was determined to keep this 'innocent' company. He didn't need any repeats of his mishap in Iraq. They were in the pool, Xav feeding their curiosity about his time overseas. All the things he had seen and experienced. But the peacefulness was interrupted when Rini came in, that... THING in tow. Xav glared in their direction, making no attempts to mask his distaste. If they were going to be hanging out in this area, he wouldn't be sticking around. The soldier stepped out of the pool, grabbing a towel as he headed towards the door. The confused girls shot each other confused glances as they followed him. Xav was glaring at Don the entire time, his shoulder roughly shoving past him as he headed out, still drying himself as he did so...

Mike certainly wasn't expecting the kisses. His eyes slightly widened, and he felt his heart do that funky fluttering thing again. He snuggled against her, unable to keep a big, goofy grin off his face. Gah, this girl was magic!

Don could feel the glare from Xav, but tried to ignore it. He couldn't expect everyone to be happy with him being there. And this was someone that had escorted him around a little as well. Even though he didn't realize it with Xav's mask firmly in place. He grunted a little when the ninja shoved past him, catching him in the shoulder, shooting his own glare at the man. He watched him storm off and shook his head, turning back to Rini, his expression softening immediately. "Guess that was to be expected," he said calmly, shrugging.

Rini bowed politely to Xavier, but didn't say anything. When he shoved passed them she gave Don an apologetic look. Then her phone rang. "Hello?" She answered as she dragged Don to the one of the steam rooms. "Yes he's here! He's cute too." She commented, blushing a bit. Once they were in the steam room, Rini closed and locked the door. Then turned on the light. She then handed Don the phone. "It's for you."

Fraya handed Mike the phone back and grin. "My friend things that your brother is cute." She teased, she then snuggled up against him again, nuzzling his neck as he talked on the phone.

"Pfft.. I hope he doesn't hear that, it'll give him a big head." Mike lightly teased, so excited that he would be able to speak to his brother. He took the phone, unable to contain himself. "Donnie?!? You there, bro? You okay?!?"

Shredder was still looking for Xavier. But was starting to think that maybe the ninja had come to the tower today. Then finally, he saw him, being followed by a few girls. "Xavier!" He called out then walked up to the man. "come with me."

Don was dragged into one of the steam rooms, not having a clue what she had in mind. He blushed deeply when he overheard her comment about being cute. He eyed the phone in curiosity then suddenly he was handed the phone. He took it without a second thought, but wasn't sure he should answer. Who KNEW what was on the other end of the line. Eying the closed door, he turned to the phone and listened on the other end. His eyes widened in shock at the very familiar voice. "Mikey!" he exclaimed, trying to keep the volume down. "You're okay!"

Once he reached the main halls, Xavier headed to his quarters to change into his more presentable uniform, the girls still in tow. He was planning on taking them up to the garden, but was soon stopped by his leader. With a bow, he dismissed his company and followed quietly behind.

Yeah, I'm okay.. are you okay? Where you at?! When you coming home?! I miss you!" He said, nearly all in one breath. He had been so worried about Donnie, it was so good to hear his voice again!

Shredder spun on his heals and lead Xavier to an elevator that required identification to enter. It was the only elevator in the tower like this, and it only lead up to one room, the throne room. Five people were aloud in this room, Shredder, Karai, one maid and two of the elite. Once they were in the elevator, Shredder pressed the one button on the control panel and they rode it to the top of the tower in silence. Once it stopped and the doors open, they walked out into a massive room. "You have done well, Xavier. You have proven yourself time and time again. And taking out two of the turtles single handily...Impressive." He walked to a small cabinet and unlocked the doors, he then pulled out a uniform. " I think that it's time you get a promotion." He said, turning back to Xavier.

"I'm fine, Mikey. I haven't been locked up, beaten, or mind-controlled," he told him, trying to put his little brother's mind at ease. "The Shredder actually kept his word." As hard as that was to believe. "How are the others? Last I knew, they weren't looking too well. And Master Splinter -- how's he taking this?" There were just so many questions in his mind, but the important thing was his family was safe.

Xav followed in silence, almost hesitating as they neared that forbidden elevator. It was almost sacred, and completely off limits, to everyone but a select few. But his master was leading him onto it. His feelings were a mixture of confusion and excitement, but he contained it all behind his calm composure. He wasn't sure what was about to happen, but just stepping onto that sacred elevator with Saki felt like a huge honor. Then, he was led into the thrown room. The soldier was in complete awe at the beauty of the place. This was the one room that most would never see. But it was beyond all the rumors that circulated the Tower. It was far nicer than any place he had ever been. His attention was once again drawn to Saki as he spoke, deeply honored by his words of praise. He bowed deeply, rising up to be met with the uniform. 'The' uniform that only the most skilled ninjas wore. The uniform of the Elite. "I'm honored." He replied, as he took the uniform, one of the biggest achievements that any of the ninjas could ever hope for. "I won't let you down."

Mike was so relieved that his brother hadn't suffered the same horrible fate. "Stay away from that creepy scientist!" He warned. "Everyone's pretty beat up, but okay. Just, worried sick about you! Sensei, too." He informed his brother. "We're gonna come for you, bro. Just hang in there.."

Shredder nodded to the man. "Good." Came his simple reply. But Xavier's promotion didn't end there. "You will lead the elite. I have no doubt that you will excide my expectations. You are will also have access to this room at any time. You may go now." Shredder dismissed Xavier.

Xavier was taken aback by that. Wow, not only was he one of the highly respected Elite, but also their leader. It would honestly take some time to completely sink in, but he was deeply honored. As with everything, he would put his all into his responsibilities. He once again bowed to his master, and disappeared from the room.

Fraya lightly started kissing Mikey again. This time nipping at his neck. She grinned against his check. She knew that he was in no position to DO anything, but she just couldn't help herself! He was sooooo cute!

But Don wasn't sure he wanted to leave anymore. Sure, he missed his family terribly, but things weren't all that bad around here. And the Shredder would let him talk to his family anytime he wanted. Maybe this was the start of an alliance with Saki -- or at least a truce. That's something they had been wishing for for so long with him. Could this be their chance? Just as long as he continued cooperating with the man. And Don promised he would. But how could he tell his brother all this without getting the wrong idea? "I'm just fine, Mikey," he repeated, not sure how to convince his brother further. "You wouldn't believe the things I've been granted. All the privileges. As long as I continue working for him, you'll be safe. You all will." By now, he really did believe the Shredder had kept his promise. Knowing his family was escorted safely away from the tower was solid proof for him.

Gah, Fraya was distracting him, big time!! He chuckled quietly as she nipped and kissed him, once again getting that funny little tingly feeling. He shifted just enough to nuzzle her, but his brother still had his attention. "Just be careful, bro. Soon as we can, we're coming for you." He repeated, and he meant it, too. He didn't trust the Shredder one bit! "Miss you." He added sadly. He was used to having Donnie staying with him whenever he got sick or injured. Even though he had this super cute girl here by his side, it just wasn't the same.

Rini wasn't as bold as Fraya was, and just sat quietly next to Don as he talked, though she was enjoying be close to him. Also, he was her superior so she wouldn't have dared made a move on him. Now, if he made a move on her, well then, that would be different.

Well, there was definitely that. He couldn't trust EVERYONE in that place yet. If he ever could at all. Clearly Xavier wasn't accepting of him and Don really couldn't care less about that. "I will," he promised. "I miss you guys so much, too. But I just want you to be safe, you know that." As for Rini next to him, he gave her a warm smile. Yet another reason it would be hard to leave this place. He'd never see her again. And apparently the feeling was mutual because she admitted it herself to whoever was on the phone earlier. He just hoped to goodness, it wasn't Mikey.

No, it wasn't Mikey. But unfortunately for Donnie, annoying little brother had heard! "So... who thinks you're cute?"

And now it was time for Don to blush...big time. "Huh? Oh, someone I met here," he explained, smiling at Rini again. His blush was VERY evident this time. Leave it to Mikey to completely embarrass him. Which when he really thought about it, it was a good sign. The old Mikey was shining through.

Rini smiled brightly at Don. Seeing his blush, she laid her head on his shoulder.

Yeah, Mike may not be able to see his brother, but he KNEW he was blushing on the opposite end of that line. "Heh.. is she hot?"

Fraya got up from the bed and stood up in the middle of the room, she needed to stretch for a bit. The shorts she had on where way to big, and she had to hold them up on her. After a good stretch she slipped back in bed with Mike, laying on her stomach and facing him. She smiled warmly at the turtle on the phone, then started to attack him with more warm kisses.

...and his blush deepened even further. Now it was getting into personal business. Oh yes, the old Mikey was back. He looked at Rini again then returned to the phone, letting out a deep sigh and nodded. "Yes. She is. And she's been so wonderful to me," he finally admitted, putting his arm around Rini. He hoped she would be okay with this gesture.

And Rini was more then ok with it. She snuggled closer to Don, and after a little hesitation, she leaned up and gave his cheek a light peck, blushing as she did so.

Don was happy she didn't mind the small advance and was rewarded for his boldness -- however subtle it might have been. He briefly lost his concentration on the phone and pulled her closer with his arm, kissing the top of her head. He smiled shyly at her with the blush still apparent on his cheeks. But he did feel better that he didn't scare her off.

Splinter fixed Leo a cup of the same Tea he made for Mike and Raph. He handed it to his son, who drank the tea without question. Now it was time to talk to his youngest about his new friend.

Splinter slowly made his way back to Mike's room and lightly tapped on the door. "Michelangelo, I would like to speak with you, please."

Leo decided to head to the dojo for some much needed exercise. With everything going on above ground, they would no doubt be needing their strength and energy. Hopefully his brothers got better quickly. He was also worried about the girl that Mike brought back with them, sure she was a little beat up, but she still worked for the foot. There was no way to know that she wouldn't turn on them, it was best that she leave.

He would leave that up to his father though, he could only voice his opinion on the matter.

Mike couldn't help but watch as Fraya stood and stretched, the clothes hanging loosely on her small frame. Gah, she was such a hottie! He was so distracted that he nearly forgot about his brother on the phone. Then, she slipped back into the bed with him, and attacked him with her lips. He giggled hoarsely, his exertions earning another violent coughing fit. But he smiled at her, pressing a soft kiss against her forehead. He wasn't sure where all of this was going, or what she felt for him, but he was growing really attached.

Just then, his father knocked at the door, bringing him back down to earth. "It's open, Sensei..." He called out, then remembered Don on the other end of the receiver. "Hey Donnie, wanna talk to Sensei?"

....but, his brother was already gone. "Guess not.." He answered himself with a sad pout, and placed the phone back onto the night table.

Splinter opened the door to Mikey's room and slowly stepped inside. He watched as the young woman laid close to Mike. He saw the smile on both their faces and smiled back. He looked at Fraya and gave her a polite bow. "May I have a moment with Michelangelo please?" He asked her kindly.

She nodded "Of course." She pressed her lips on Mike's cheek and got up from the bed. She then quickly scurried out of the room to find something to do while she waited.

Splinter closed the door behind her and sat on the edge of Mike's bed. "You seem to be feeling better. Though I believe that your young friend has been more healing then my tea. I would like to talk to you about her, I assume that I do not have to go into details about the birds and bees. But I want you to take things slowly, so as neither of you get hurt. Also." He continued. "Does she have another place to go?"

Mike watched as Fraya left, then turned his full attention to his father. Indeed, Fraya had been a distraction from the agony he was in. He liked the girl, a lot. But he so wasn't prepared for his father's comment about 'The Birds and the Bees'. He blinked, jaw hanging slightly agape.

"Sensei!!" He blushed, but couldn't contain a quiet chuckle. He could not believe he was getting this talk!! "Heh.. I haven't even thought about that.. with her.." Well, not yet, anyway. The two were still getting to know each other, and while Fraya's advances might have been obvious to some, Mike was totally oblivious.

"No, she doesn't have anywhere else to go. The Tower was her home."

Splinter decided to leave it at that for now. Maybe he was to quick to assume something would be going on more then a friendship. But he couldn't help but noticed the young woman's gestures to his son. "I feel that she might like you more then a friend." He suggested with a smile. But then he changed the subject to her living situation.

"She may stay here until she finds another place to stay. But she mustn't know where we live. I know that you trust her, Michelangelo. But we can not forget that she did, work for the Shredder. So for now, We will proceed with caution with her."

He laid a paw on Mike's forehead. "Your fever is down. That's good." He stood up and headed to the door. "I will be back in an hour with another cup of tea. For now, you must get some rest." He opened the door and walked out. Now it was time to talk to the girl.

So, Fraya possibly liked him more than just a friend? Sweet! But it was a little embarrassing that his father had picked up on this, and he hadn't. But, he wouldn't jump the gun just yet. His father was probably just being cautious, and needed a reason to bring up the whole Birds and the Bees thing. He briefly wondered if Raph had gotten that talk, and the thought brought a small smile to his face.

He listened as his father spoke, just giving a small nod. He understood his father's concerns about her being a former Foot, but he seriously didn't think the girl had a malicious bone in her body. When his father left, he slid back down beneath the covers, trying to make himself comfortable. He worried about Fraya being 'out there' on her own, especially around Raph. He would've gone after her, but was just too sore. Besides, his father and Leo were out there. They wouldn't let Raph get too snappy with her. Obviously he didn't know that his brother had left.

A little while later, Fraya came back in Mike's room giggling. She laid down next to Mike and turned to him. "Your father just gave me 'the talk'." She informed with a sweet smile. "He said I can stay until I find my own place, but that I didn't have to start looking for a place right away. He wants me to stay with you for now, to keep an eye on you and make sure that you're ok."

She leaned over and gave Mike's cheek a kiss.
