Splinter pressed on, he fought a few of the ninja that came his way, but he had a goal and he was going to reach it. He left his sons to fight off the other ninja as he slipped out of the dungeon. He's destination was where ever Shredder was. Hopefully he could reason with the man.

After talking with Karai and sending her on her way, Saki walked back to the men and women that he had been talking to. "Sorry about that." He apologized. "But something has come up and I'm afraid that I'm going to have to cut this meeting short. We've got a lot done today though and I'm very optimistic about the outcome." He told the group.

He then walked everyone out the door and lead them to the lobby area. He said his good byes and saw them out the tower. Angry for having this very important meeting cut short, Shredder turned on his heals and headed to his room to change.

Donatello wrote:...and Don predicted right. He rolled his eyes at the teasing and decided to let it go. This was Mikey, after all; his little brother. Any sign of the real Mikey was a comfort in itself. No matter how teasing it was. He did, however, pick up an accusatory tone in Mike's voice at the mention of the reason his little brother expected for why Don hadn't returned home. And he was about to set the record straight and possibly offer some comfort to the youngest turtle, but then a knock was heard at his door.

His eyes widened and flashed a look at both Rini and Mikey before the young servant was pushing Mikey towards the closet. Common sense told him this wasn't such a good idea if anyone decided to conduct a search while the the orange-clad turtle was still in the room. And it was such a cliche hiding spot anyway. Surely the soldiers wouldn't fall for it. However, given limited options, Don just had to have faith that everything would be alright.

After making sure Mike was as comfortable in the small space as possible, Don rushed to the door, and opened it. "Can I help you?" he offered, making sure not to give anything away -- or act as if he was hiding anything.

After making sure that Mike was as hidden as he could be, Rini walked up to the door and smiled at the ninja. "Can we help you?" She asked sweetly.

The man wasn't sure if he was suppose to be looking for something, and if he was, he wasn't sure what the something was. So he peeked behind the two and glanced around. Seeing nothing out of place he went to leave. Rini let out a breath of relief but caught that breath when the ninja turned back around to them.

"You two. Stay here. The master is expecting company." He told them firmly, not mentioning that that 'company' was his brothers. After his orders the man turned and left.

Rini looked at Don and closed the door. "That was close. We need to get Mike out of here."

*Raphael grunted in protest to their father leading the way in and knew it would be pointless to stop him. At times Splinter was just about as stubborn as he was. He drew his Sais and followed in last and was not in the least surprised that they were ambushed. This either meant that they had gotten tighter with security or someone tipped them off that they were coming.

He had no time to ponder that as a few Foot soldiers headed his way. It wasn't much a a problem since he was more then ready for this! He stood his ground as two of them tried to attack him at once and with a smirk he dodged one and took the opportunity to strike the other causing them to crash into each other and fall. Raphael couldn't believe how easy that was.* "Fuckin' rookies!" * He spat down at them before glancing around for Leonardo who also seemed to take a couple out with ease.

He then looked around for their father and began to worry when he didn't see him anywhere. He then quickly followed behind Leonardo as they continued down the hallway*

"Where's Master Splinter?!" *He asked in a hushed tone, but even then it seemed his voice was louder then he meant it to be.*

Leo eventually made it to the door that would lead to the tower. When Raph caught up with him and asked about Splinter he glanced around. "I don't know." He answered quietly. "He pushed past us, I think he already went into the tower." He added. "Come on, we have to keep moving."

He causally opened the door that lead into the tower. So far this had been too easy. Maybe Shredder didn't know they were coming after all.

Mike just couldn't hold it any longer. He released the massive sneeze that he'd been fighting for the past several minutes, then rubbed his snout before reaching for his brother's offered hand. He managed a small grin as he stepped out of the closet, but it faded, hearing his brother's 'suggestion'.

"Uh uh." He said, shaking his head and folding his arms. "I'm not leaving without you, Donnie. "

Karai was walking through the building trying to get her elite guard in order but it was proving to be a little challenging. They really needed some kind of intercom system or something to get a hold of them on a moments notice! She was a little frustrated but felt that she had time considering it was still daylight out. She didn't believe the turtles would risk a daytime rescue.

As she continued looking around the building one of the Foot soldiers ran up to her. "What is wrong?" She asked calmly but the reply from the young man was anything but calm. "We found some of the guys knocked out down in the dungeon but we can't get them to wake up yet, so I'm not sure what the hell happened to them!"

Karai's eyes lit up, she knew exactly what must have happened to them! But she was surprised the turtles were so fast to act and thought that it showed just how desperate they were. "I want this place on lock down now! No one leaves until we have found the turtles!" She ordered sternly. The man bowed and quickly ran off to complete his orders.

Soon the emergency steel doors shut over all the windows and the main entrance. She would make sure there was no escape this time..

Donatello sighed and rubbed his temples in frustration at Mikey's stubborness. He didn't have time to argue about this. That guard could come back any minute. Or worse...the Shredder himself. But he knew his little brother wouldn't dismiss the subject so easily. Don had to think of something and fast.

"You should at least be with the others. They're on their way, I think," Don tried again. He did NOT like his little brother here by himself. Especially if he was hurt! But it was too late for that now. And leaving now would put all of them in danger.

Don was conflicted on what he should do now. Mike said he wouldn't leave without him, and Don wouldn't leave without Rini. He could only imagine what would happen if Rini was no longer under his protection. And an unplanned escape for all of them now would probably not end well. Not with Mike's injuries.

Suddenly he saw something move out of the corner of his eye, completed with a resounding "bang" as the window guards slammed shut. 'Oh, no...' Don's eyes widened in panic, fearing it was Mikey that tripped the alarm somehow -- not having a clue that his other brothers and father were already inside the building. Or that possibly they could have tripped something.

His panicked expression faced his brother again. "Mikey, you need to get outta here!" he said desperately. "I'll find some way out of this, I promise." His eyes were pleading for Mikey to go along with this.

Rini wasn't too worried. If Mikey was able to get in, then there was little doubt that he would be able to get out the same way. But the fact that Mike wouldn't leave without Don upset her. Didn't he realize the danger that would put Don and herself in? Did he even care? Probably not. It seemed the young turtle didn't care, or maybe didn't realize the consequences of Don leaving the tower. Of course she had no idea that Don's other brother had already called off the deal.

She was about to open the door to make sure no one was around, she wanted to make Mike's get away as smooth as she could. But when she opened the bedroom door, the tower suddenly went on lock down. She slammed the door shut and leaned her back against it.

"This isn't good." She quietly commented. "I'll go see what's going on."

Shredder did not expect the windows and doors to go into lock down like that. It seemed Karai had made a few improvements to the tower while he was gone. He had to admit, he was impressed. After he was done getting ready for what ever fight awaited him, he left his room and pushed past his ninjas. Some were ready to fight, others were demanding to know what was going on.

Shredder found Karai giving out orders to the men. He walked up to her calmly. "I like what you've done to the place." He commented. "Do we know where the turtles are in the building?"

Everything seemed to be going smoothly, other then the fact that they had lost Splinter. But then the tower went in lock down mode and Leo froze. He was not expecting this. He looked over at Raph and wordlessly motioned for him to follow close behind. They couldn't afford to be split up, a fact that Leo was sure Raph already knew.

Leo stuck to the shadows as the walked through the tower. He had no clue where they were going. Thinking back on it, they should have asked Don where he was located in the tower.

Unlike his sons, Splinter knew exactly where he was going. He was going to see Shredder. And it didn't take long for the rat to find him. Splinter stood in the shadows of the hallway as he watched Shredder and Karai talk. He did not wish to fight, and feared that the young woman would do just that. It was best to avoid all others, and approach Saki when he was alone.

    So he waited.

Mike also heard the 'banging' of the windows as they automatically locked down. It seemed all hell was breaking loose, and he was fearful that he had been the cause of it. But he had been so careful, and no-one had seen him!! He couldn't understand. As injured as he was, if someone had been alerted to his presence, they could've easily captured him. Obviously, he was not in top condition.

Hearing his brother once again insist that he leave, his frantic, now tearful gaze fixated on him. "Please.. Donnie... you have to come with me." He pleaded. It took everything he had just to get here, it would be crushing to leave empty handed, especially considering that something was wrong, and the tower was on alert.

"Bring your girlfriend if you have to, but we need to get out of here... now!!"

Rini slipped out the room and practically ran into one of the foot ninjas. She bows and apologized. "Sorry, I didn't mean to run into you." She told the man, she then looked up at him and noticed that he wasn't wearing his mask. "Katsu! What's going on? Why is the tower on lock down?" She asked him as she motioned to the boarded up windows.

Katsu slipped his masked on, adjusting it on his head and face. "The turtles broke in. Guess what ever deal they had going on is over uh?"

"More then one then?" So maybe they didn't know Mike was in the building.

Katsu nodded. "Yes." It was all he said before he ran off. Rini watched the man run down the hall then slipped back in the bedroom. "They don't know you're here, Mike. I don't think so anyway. Katsu said that there are other turtles in the building, that's why we went on lock down. That the deals off." She looked at Don worriedly. "That means you're not safe here anymore. You both have to get out. Maybe the roof top is still open, You two can go around back and leave through the garden."

Not being able to just sit at the lair and wait. Fraya left and headed to the tower the same way the turtles had. She was unarmed, but, she had more knowledge then the turtles did, plus she had someone on the inside. Once she was in the dungeon she quickly had to hide as two men walked past her. As soon as she was in the clear, she made a run for it heading up the stairs and into the hall ways.

She then called Rini. Rini answered and Fraya could tell that she was worried. "Where are you?" She asked.

"Where are you?" Rini asked back.

Fraya told her that she had go into the tower. and that she was looking for Mike. Rini told her where they where and hung up. "Fraya's here looking for you." Rini informed Mike."

And it was then that the door open and Fraya slipped inside. "There is a lot of guards out there." She told the room and plopped down on the bed.

Though her expression turned more serious as she heard his question. "I am unsure though I do know that they came in from the dungeon. It may be wise to lock him in one of the cells..." He added thoughtfully. He then gave Karai a nod and hurried off.

The situation kept getting worse in Donatello's mind. Things just continued to pile up. When Rini returned and said they needed to get out of there, he was really torn on what to do. If it was just Mikey and him, it would be easier. But now, he had a relationship with Rini. He couldn't--no he WOULDN'T leave her. He looked at her sadly and nodded to her then looked back at Mikey.

    "Yes, we will go."

It seemed like nothing was a guarantee anymore. And he had thought things were going so well -- too well. And too good to be true, apparently. Then he turned back to Rini, shaking his head.

"But not without you. I don't think it's safe for you anymore, either, Rini. Not since the Shredder knows about US." Then he moved over to her and took her smaller hands in his. "I love you." He pressed her hands against his chest, looking deeply into her eyes. "And I don't want it to end this way, between us."

I don't think Shredder would do anything to me, I mean...The man saved me, so he must he care a little right?" She said, but wasn't really sure anymore. It seemed from the time she had first met Saki till now, he had...Changed.

She then looked over at Fraya and Mike. "But...I don't think anyone should leave now. It's too dangerous, we should wait. I think I know a place that you can hide until it's time to make a move."

She looked back at Don. "Everything is going to be fine, you'll see."

Mike was too preoccupied with the fact that Fraya was now in the room to even acknowledge the sweet exchange between his brother and Rini. "Fraya.. you shouldn't be here!!" He tried to scold her, but it came out more as surprise than anything else. But before he had a chance to say anything else to her, he heard the loud knocking at the door, followed by the unmistakable voice of their most hated enemy.

"Oh crap..." His fearful gaze fixated on the door, then shifted back to Fraya. He grabbed her hand, and frantically tugged her towards the huge walk-in closet that he'd been 'forced' into only minutes before...

Don wanted to believe that, he really did. But something told him, it wasn't going to be easy -- if it happened at all. He nodding and returned the small kiss then turned to the others. He was about to say something else when he first heard the knock then the voice behind the door, freezing with his eyes widened.

Trying to stay calm, and not keep Saki waiting, he hurried over to the door as soon as the others hid in the closet again. He paused and glanced at the closet door to make sure they were out of sight then swallowed hard before slowly opening the door.

"Yes...Master?" How he hated referring to his enemy by that title. His real master is and always will be his father and Sensei, Master Splinter.
