    A gentle rain

Post by Hun on Fri Mar 16, 2012 8:57 pm

((The night has passed and the rain continues to fall. Things have only gotten worse with the gangs on the streets.))

Things hadn't gone the way Hun wanted them to. The attack on the foot tower didn't go well at all. They hadn't even gotten the gas in the building when they were attacked. Obviously the foot were waiting for them.

A lot of Hun's men were injured badly, tho they did manage to shoot and kill some of the ninjas. Still, it wasn't enough to even put a dent in the foot.

Now the Hun and the Dragons sat at HQ, taking care of their wounds, and morning their dead.

Hun was still determined to beat the foot. But he needed a better plan, and more men.But this time, maybe not his men. He would come up with another plan of attack then give Jencko a call. It was time that his men helped out.

April didn't have trouble sleeping at all. She had her man safe and sound next to her. She was worried about the turtles and had made a note to herself to call them in the morning.

She had managed to keep both Casey and Angel in the house last night. Now to keep them in the house for the rest of the storm. Angel she figured would be easy. But with all the crime out there, she knew that Casey would want to leave and go beat up people.

Kelly had made it to April's house last night and was glad for it. It seemed that Angel was trying to leave to go get him, and that made him feel pretty special. He really didn't think that Angel cared that much, but was happy to know that she did.

it didn't take long for him to fall asleep last night. April gave him a sleeping bag and he found a nice spot on the floor and quickly went to sleep.

He woke to the sounds of April in the kitchen. He didn't feel like getting up just yet tho and rolled over, closing his eyes again. Maybe he could try to sleep for a few more hours.

Angel had been ready to go out there and save her friend. She was so glad that he decided to not fight the foot and came to April's house. With her best friend with her she had no trouble going to sleep.

She didn't wake when April went into the kitchen. She was quite content in her sleeping bag, safe from the outside elements. She snuggled close to Kelly as she slept, snoring lightly.

Leo didn't sleep as well as he would have liked. The couch wasn't that comfortable but he wouldn't complain. When he opened his eyes and looked at the clock, it said it was eight. a lot later then when he usually woke up.He pushed himself up from the couch and stretched out his arms over his head.

He then stood up and headed for the kitchen to grab a small breakfast before his morning meditation.

Last night had been pretty eventful. The Dragons decided to attack and the foot were waiting for them. Shredder himself didn't bother going out in the rain to join the fight, but watched it from his window. His men took out the dragons with ease. Tho he did suffer a few losses, it was nothing compared to what the Dragons lost.

He went to bed shortly after the fight was over and the Dragon's retreated.

Now he was awake, had gone for a swim and was now checking in on Karai. He opened her door slowly and peeked inside. "How are you feeling today, Karai?"

Ace slept well that night and was up early the next morning. He snooped around Leo's room for a while then headed out into the lair. He spotted Leo in the kitchen and headed over there.

"Nice place you guys have here." He told Leo as he peeked in the fridge for something to eat.

"thank you. We try hard to keep it as nice as we can." Leo poured the coffee into a coffee cup and took a sip. "Did you two sleep alright?"

"Yeah we slept fine. The bed was pretty comfortable." Ace ended up grabbing some cereal that was on top of the fridge and some milk. Leo handed him a bowl and spoon and Ace sat down to eat.

Mikko was happy when they finally got back to Ryan's house. She was even more happy when things in the house settled down and the kids were a sleep. She slept great that night, curled up in Ryan's arms. She was falling hard for the man and would make a point not to kill this one. She couldn't handle another loss like that.

The next morning Mikko was woke by the rain and by Travis crying. She went to her baby and picked him up bouncing him softly. She was going to have to go out and find baby food for him today. She didn't really want to go out in this rain but would do anything for her little one.

She changed him and fed him using the food that Daisy had brought over for Zoe. She looked out the window, the black sky looking quite scary.

"I better leave soon while there's a little break in the rain."

Serenity was happy when everyone decided to go to bed, there was nothing she loved more then curling up next to Gabe in bed. Morning came too soon for her and she laid in bed awake for some time. Finally she willed herself up, slipping out of bed carefully so not to wake Gabe.

She shuffled to the bathroom, feeling a bout of sickness come on. She hated this so much.

After she was done in the bathroom she headed to the little kitchen area to fix herself some juice.

"Heard the Dragons attacked the Foot tower last night." Bones told Jencko. He was siting in Jencko's office waiting for orders, anything he was just looking for something to do. He was tempted to see where Ally was and go bug her.

Sugar was also sitting in Jencko's office, looking out the window watching the rain. It was slowing down now but was going to pick back up again soon. She wasn't liking all this rain at all.

Hearing that Dragons went to the Foot tower caused her to frown. She didn't know who the Foot were really, but had heard some bad things about them. She hoped that Jencko didn't plan on attacking them too.

Splinter had been up before anyone else and was sitting quietly in the dojo. He was in the middle of the floor crosslegged, Meditating about their situation. They were safe in the lair as far Splinter knew, but he also knew that not all things were certain and things could go wrong. They couldn't let their guard down.

He was also meditating on Ally and Ace. Ally seemed trustworthy, but Splinter felt it was a mistake to bring Ace down there. The turtles were getting carless with who they invited to the lair. So far no harm had come from it, but how long would that last?

    Re: A gentle rain

Post by Leonardo on Sat Mar 17, 2012 5:32 pm

Last night, Donatello slept the best he had in the past few days. He knew a large part of it was the beautiful woman lying in his arms. And he couldn't be happier. The stress, however, had already taken its toll on his body and instead of being up at his usual time, he slept right through it and continued sleeping. Despite all the unknown factors that the weather outside posed, it didn't seem to make a difference to the purple-clad turtle.

Rini nuzzled against Don and slowly opened her eyes. She smiled up at Don and tried her best not to move too much, she didn't want to wake him. But she had to pee! Rini gave a little pout and tried to just go back to sleep, but it wasn't working. She finally gave in and slipped out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

Don noticed the small shift of weight in bed but he couldn't bring himself to become fully conscious. He could still smell Rini's scent on his pillow and that was enough to lull him back into a peaceful sleep.

And soon Rini was coming back to bed. She slipped back under the covers and cuddled close to Don. She then glanced at the clock, she didn't think that she had slept that late. She really should just stay up but she didn't want to. Rini wanted to lay in bed with Don all day. She leaned over and kissed his cheek.

Don once again felt the shift and soon he felt a nice warmth in his arms again. He smiled softly in his sleep then slowly opened his eyes at the gentle kiss. "Hi..." he whispered in a half-asleep state.

Oblivious to everything that was happening topside, Ally slept peacefully throughout the night. She didn't even wake when Ace left her side, or began snooping around Leo's room. She finally woke awhile after Ace ventured out of the room, her eyes slowly fluttering open and taking in the void beside her. She reached and touched the space beside her, feeling the sheet's coolness beneath her fingertips. Obviously Ace had been gone for a while. Not being a morning person, she was reluctant to leave the comforts of the bed, but was curious about where her boyfriend had ventured off to. She slowly pushed herself up, suppressing a tired yawn as she ran her fingers through her hair. It took her a moment but she finally stood, but didn't bother with sliding into her pants. No need, she thought. It was early, and no-one but Ace was probably up. The turtles liked to ventured out at night, right? Then surely they slept in. With that thought in mind, she ventured out of the room wearing panties and a stomach-revealing t-shirt, and headed into the kitchen...

"Morning." Rini said softly. "Did you sleep well?"

Leo caught a glimps of Ally and smiled at her, but soon saw that she was wearing very little. He turned his head and cleared his throat. "Um...Would you like to borrow some jeans maybe." He asked as a small blush formed on his face.

Ace looked over at Ally and got up from his seat. He went over to Ally and tried to cover her up with his body. "Babe, go put some pants on."

"Mmm..." Don leaned over and kissed her softly. "Very well, thanks to you," he said, smiling. "How about yourself?"

Rini returned the kiss and nuzzled against his cheek. "I slept well. Can we just stay in bed today. I don't wanna leave."

Lexi hadn't slept well at all. It was a combination of things. Not being in her own bed.. the faint dripping sounds of distant pipes, worry over Gabe and Laz.. and her concern for little Phoenix. She found herself up and down all night, checking on the baby, and making sure that he was alright. Perhaps her paranoia wouldn't have been so bad if the baby turtle could cry if something was wrong, but he was mute.. any possible distress would go unheard. Most of her checks were uneventful, but on her last check, she saw him peering up at her with those helpless eyes. She fed and changed him, but when she tried to put him back to bed, his silent cries broke her heart. She carried him back to bed with her, but stayed up, rocking him in her arms.

Don gave a small chuckle at that. "We can for a while yet, but not all day. I have to make sure everything held overnight during the storm. Make sure there are no breaches. I'm sure everything is fine, this is just precautionary," he added quickly to keep her from worrying. Then he looked up at the clock in his room. "Maybe another 15 minutes to a half-hour."

Ally was not expecting for Leo to be in the kitchen, but she greeted him with a sleepy smile as she sat at the table, not really remembering that she was hardly dressed. Hearing Leo's question reminded her of that fact, and seeing that blush.. gosh, he was so cute. She chuckled at his reaction, and pouted at Ace's comment as she pushed herself up, sighing deeply. "Fine." With that, she disappeared to retrieve her pants.

Rini smiled at that, tho she would have rather stay in bed all day, she understood. "Ok." She said and snuggled close to him, letting her eyes slide shut again.

Leo didn't look until he was sure that Ally wasn't in the room. He looked at Ace and Ace just gave a shrug. Leo was happy that she would be clothed, not that he mind seeing her without pants. He just didn't want to seem rude.

As much as Raph wanted a goodnight's sleep, he couldn't find it with Lexi being up and down all night. Though he couldn't really blame her because all of this was new to her. Hell, if Raph wasn't so worn out after heavy makeout and more sessions, he might not have been able to sleep at Lexi's. But he was also very concerned about the kid sleeping in the crate nearby. Although he was glad the baby didn't make noise, it still wasn't right to take the poor guy's voice away. And the first night as being a father had been a serious reality check for Raphael, anyway. When Lexi got up for the last time, Raph came fully awake and sat up in bed next to her, putting a hand on her leg. "Maybe let 'im sleep with us for now." Even though he really wanted more intimate time with Lexi, little Phoenix had to come first. And Raph was determined to be the best dad he knew how to be. After all, he had a great role model in his own father.

Laz woke to the sounds of Serenity moving about. He opened his eyes and lifted his head to look at Seren. "Morning." He said softly to her, not wanting to wake Aeris or Ivy.

    "Morning." Seren whispered back.

Laz carefully slipped out of bed and headed to the kitchen with nothing but his boxers on. He grabbed the coffee pot and started the coffee. "I'll go grab us some breakfast from the cafe downstairs. Anything perticuler you want?"

Seren shook her head. "Nah, just some eggs and waffles would be nice."

"Eggs and waffles it is. I think I might get waffles for everyone."

While waiting for the coffee he went back to the living room area and slipped on some pants and a tank-top. He would get some coffee in him before venturing off to fetch breakfast.

Remey slept well last night and was still sleeping well this morning. It wasn't until Bella shook him awake that he opened his eyes.

"Daddy I'm hungry." The little girl whispered.

Remey shifted in the bed and sat up. "Ok." He said with a yawn. "Lets see about getting you something to eat then." He got out of bed and pulled on some pants, then headed out the bedroom with Bella.

Seeing that Laz and Seren were up he gave them a tired smile. "Bella's hungry. Is the cafe downstairs still serving breakfast?"

Laz ruffled Bella's hair and nodded to Remey. "Yeah I was just about to go down there and get everyone breakfast."

"Cool. I'll come with ya, help you carry it all back up." Remey looked down at Bella. "Laz and I are going to get breakfast, you stay here with Serenity ok."

Bella nodded and walked over to Seren. She was just happy that she would be getting food soon.

Laz poured both him and Remey a cup of coffee and sipped his own. Then went back over to the bed and slipped his shoes on.

It felt like Bishop hadn't slept in days! He hated this weather even tho he spent most of his time in his lab. He had finished his newest creation and was ready to unleash it out into the city, but he couldn't with all this rain! It was frustrating.

Bishop looked out his window and shook his head. Hopefully the storm would past soon tho that was doubtful. He was eager to watch the effects of the chemical he created. He was tempted to test it on the Foot, but didn't want to burn that bridge quite yet.

But with any luck, after the storm, people of the city would be drinking a little something extra in their water. The red liquid almost glowed in the vial that it was kept in. Bishop turned his head and smiled. The city might be going crazy now. But it would be nothing compared to what was to come.

Stockman was also getting tired of the rain, he didn't go outside much, but he did enjoy nice weather coming through his window as he worked. He was in his shed working hard on his mechanical creations. He wished that he had a proper work area but this was as good as it got, for now.

He was bringing back an old favorite. changing and tweeking things here and there. Bishop would fund his mousers if they were good enough, and he was making dame sure that they were good enough.

There was nothing Baxter wanted more then to see his mousers in action once again. This time April and those stupid turtles were not going to interfere.

Casey also had no trouble sleeping. In fact, he slept like a baby. The storm only lulled him, as bad weather often did. There was just something so calming in even the most violent raindrops and earth-shaking thunder. Besides, he had April sleeping by his side.. things couldn't have been any better. Though, he wasn't too thrilled with having that Kelly kid around. But, if it kept Angel from venturing out into the storm, well, he could tolerate it... for now.

He awoke some time after April had left the bedroom, missing her warmth and the heavenly feel of her body against his. The vigilante certainly wasn't a morning person, but the rain had eased off some, and he knew the gangs would be using this opportunity to cause havoc on the already damaged city. He reluctantly pushed himself up, sitting on the edge of the bed as he worked out the stiff muscles in his arms and shoulders, then eventually pushed himself onto his feet. All of this weather was not helping the arthritis in his once-damaged knee, but pain was definitely something he could deal with.

He slid into some jeans and a red wife-beater, eyeing his gulf-bag that laid propped against the wall. It was time to go to work, but not without stealing a few more minutes with April first. He left the bag where it lay, then ventured into the kitchen, a cheeky grin spreading across his lips as his sights set in April. As silently as he could, he slipped up behind her, wrapping an arm around her waist, and pulling her against him.

"Mornin', babe." He whispered into her ear, and pressed a soft kiss against the back of her neck.

If they were ever gonna work out, they needed honesty between them... even if that started World War III. "But, don't worry. Raph will have my back." Of course, Raph didn't know about this yet...

April sat down beside Casey. "You know I worry about you, both of you. But, I guess I can't stop you. Just promise me you'll not do anything too stupid and get yourselves in trouble."

She hated when Casey went out fighting, but knew that was who he was and nothing she said or did would change that. She just needed to make sure that he would at lest be careful, it did make her feel better that Raph would be with him.

"And I want you back before the rain starts getting bad again."
