I joined a year or so ago. Maybe a little more. I recently returned, and had my own rp but it's shut down due to people being absent and inactive.

That's the curse of unknown fandoms like TMNT. You have to be sure to have dedicated writers and friends to rp with you or you end up writing them all yourself mostly. And it's easy to lose interest. I suspect that the movie coming out next month will bring some more rps and that's good.

Maybe even bring MO here some more members which would be really good. If not, we're all pretty happy where we are and make the best of it. Those rps that have like 200 active members tend to be very clique-y and showcase a lot of favoritism where as an rp like this is very mellow and not as overwhelming or playing favorites with certain members.

Those big ones can be a pain. To be honest, I was surprised this site was still going even when I had joined. This is an older rp and it's been up for years now. From what I know it still features the original writers, the few who remained. So that's also a good sign and shows dedication to a smaller, more compact writing circle as opposed to gaining member numbers and getting lazy with it. Smile

Oh yeah I definitely agree that the larger the community the more difficult it is to find good RP. For instance just before signing up here, I'd also signed up at RpNation which if you're unfamiliar is a HUGE RPing community for just about everything you can think of. But its so massive that I haven't made a single friend or even brainstormed about any potential RPs. I feel so small and overwhelmed and its just so hard to approach anybody. It doesn't help that it feels like the things I'm currently interested are, as you pointed out, kind of in the minority and even though there are lots and lots of players, none of them seem to be a good match for me and what I'm looking for.

Which made me all the more happy to have found you guys :3

    *needs somewhere to snarl*
ALKSFJALSKJLKJLKSJF I would be DONE finalizing my character's history section if my stupid WORD PROGRAM would stop dying on me. I've had to restart it three times in as many sentences RAWR! *gnaws on laptop*

    *huff*

    *edit-
    *imitating The Count*
Make that seven. Seven restarts. Ah. Ah. Ah.

    Thanks :3

If anyone else would like one, I'm pretty ok at some simple expressions/expression cycles. Could always use the practice. (of course... my art style is pretty cartoony as all can see)

Hello, Maddie. Nice to meet you. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond. A turtle's work is never done around here. *sighs* Anyway, welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your stay.  Very Happy
